Consistently good products

This isn't my first order from Boxy Pixel. I've bought their Game Boy Micro faceplates and a few sets of their custom shoulder buttons before. This time I got a Game Boy Advance SP aluminum shell and a USB-C charging kit. As usual, the quality was top-notch, exactly what I've come to expect. Everything fit together perfectly, and the charging kit works flawlessly. It's why I keep coming back; their stuff is always reliable and feels premium, making the modding process much smoother.

Shell felt good, customer service was alright

So I grabbed one of those Game Boy DMG aluminum shells, and it really felt pretty sweet, like, super solid. I had a question about what kind of screws it came with, so I shot their customer service an email. Took 'em about a day and a half to get back to me, which isn't lightning fast, but they did answer my question clearly. The shell itself was totally worth it though, my old DMG looks really slick now. Just wish the response was a bit quicker, you know?

Good quality, minor fitting issue

I ordered a Game Boy Advance aluminum shell and a set of brass buttons for my mod project. The shell itself is really premium feeling, the anodized finish was consistent, and it definitely felt sturdy, a big upgrade from the original plastic. Shipping was pretty quick, got to me in about 4 days. My main gripe was that the IPS screen bracket I also ordered didn't quite sit perfectly flush; I had to do a tiny bit of filing to get it to fit just right with my particular IPS screen. It wasn't a huge deal, but something to be aware of. Overall, good value for the quality, just a small fitment hiccup.
